Highway 82 Wildfire Notice for Displaced Residents

Brantley County is establishing resources to assist families who lost their homes in the Highway 82 Wildfire, including a donation center and access to laundry facilities. Additional services may become available as recovery efforts continue.

If your home was destroyed in the Highway 82 Wildfire, please contact the Brantley County Commissioners Office at 912-462-5256 ext. 5. If no one answers, please leave a message.

Eligible residents will be issued an identification badge that will provide access to available recovery resources and services.

Proof of residency will be required. These badges are available only to families whose homes were destroyed by the wildfire.

Long-Term Recovery Survey

Community members affected are encouraged to complete the Long-Term Recovery Survey. The information collected will help identify ongoing needs, connect residents with available resources, and support recovery planning efforts.
