Report Your Damage

Reporting your damage is one of the most important things you can do. It is required to qualify for most assistance programs, and it helps officials know what resources your area needs. Do this as soon as possible — even if you don’t have all the information yet.

Call Brantley County Emergency Management to report local damage directly.

What to have ready when you call or go online:

Gather these before you start — it makes everything go faster. But if you don’t have everything, report anyway and add information later.

Your home address
(including county)
Your Social Security number
(do not give your Social Security number out to unauthorized individuals or entities)
Your insurance info
(if you have it)
A phone number where you can be reached
A current mailing or email address

Don’t have your documents? Lost your ID in the fire? Report anyway. Agencies know this happens and have ways to work with you. The most important thing is to get registered.
